Rolling Mill

        Shiu Wing rolling mill occupies 10 hectares of landfill area. The main building houses the production area, finished stock area and an area shared by the billet day-stock and the wire mesh production line. The ability to keep the finished stock under cover means that the materials can be held in prime condition until despatch.

        The mill is capable of producing annually over 750,000 MT of round and reinforcing bars with diameters from 10mm to 50mm, and with length from 0.5m to 18m.


The production line includes:

-  130 MT/hour capacity walking hearth reheating furnace

-  Endless Bar Rolling System (EBROS)

-  19-stand rolling mill

-  Tempcore heat treatment process

-  Cooling bed of 135m in length

-  Bar counting, binding, bundling and transportation units

-  Computer system to control and monitor every stage of production

        Shiu Wing has recognized that customers have waste on site when cutting from standard 12m-length bars. Therefore, a new shearing line was installed in 2001 to cope with special customer orders. We are now capable of producing bars of length ranging from 0.5m to 18m.

        Our products are manufactured in accordance to BS4449 and CS2.

軋鋼廠

        紹榮在屯門的廠房面積約十萬平方米，包括軋鋼廠房，鋼鉟存放場，及鋼網生產線。將製成品貯存在有蓋的廠房內，確保產品保持最佳狀況，並可於第一時間運送給顧客。

軋鋼廠每年產量達750,000公噸元鐵和縲紋鋼。直徑由10毫米至50毫米、長度0.5米至18米。

軋鋼生產線包括:

  - 每小時可處理130公噸鋼鉟的加熱爐

  - 連續軋鋼系統 (EBROS"易駁時"

  - 由19台軋鋼架組成的軋鋼廠

  - Tempcore

  - 冷床長達135米

  - 鋼筋製成品剪裁，核點，捆軋，
     及加上標籤後等待發送

  - 電腦化系統增強監控程序，使生產
    工序更暢順，增強各部門溝通

        紹榮以滿足顧客需要為目標，我們認識到12米長鋼筋開料時會產生損耗，為配合顧客需求，我們在2001年引進一部剪鐵機，現時我們能夠提供0.5米 至18米長的鋼筋。

本公司的鋼筋產品符合英國標準BS4449 及香港CS2。

EBROS

        The "Endless Bar Rolling System" welds billets together by the flash welding method and is capable of creating an infinitely long billet that will always subdivide into any length chosen by our customers. The result is improved product quality and uniformity, and increased productivity.

易駁時

Docking Facilities

      Shiu Wing pier lies on the northeast coast of Tuen Mun in the New Territories of Hong Kong. Its favourable location and quality makes it a prime access for the import of raw materials, dispatch of product and export of steel scrap.

  -  Latitude 113’56", longitude 22’22"

  -  16 nautical miles from Victoria Harbour

  -  Outer pier is 200m in length and 15m
       in width, with docking facilities for
       ships up to 40,000 metric tonnes

  -  Inner pier is 170m in length and 6m 
      in width, with docking facilities for
      four 2300-mt or seven 1500-MT
      lighters simultaneously.

碼頭設施

    紹榮鋼鐵的私人碼頭位於香港新界屯門西北面，其有利位置及優越條件使之成為入口原材料、起卸製成品及出口廢鐵的主要通道。

   - 東經113’56"，北緯22’22"

  - 距離維多利亞港約16海里

  - 外碼頭全長200公尺闊15公尺，可供
      40,000 噸以下船隻靠泊

  - 內碼頭全長170公尺闊6公尺，
     可同時供四艘排水量2,300噸或
     7艘1,500噸以下躉船靠泊。
